Tithes and Offerings
First Fruits
9 Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:
10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.

In the old testament, Israel had to give the following offerings.

For the Atonement for Sin

For Thanksgiving

For Peace and Prosperity

For covenant offering

For Tithes
In the new Testament the same principle are still in effect in today's time, except for the offering for the atonement for sin. Our Lord Jesus Christ paid for our atonement for sin once and for all when he died on the cross. But the tithes and all other offerings are still in effect today.
